A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Individuals must have clean criminal background, drivers license, vehicle and good references. We would ask that individuals have experience as either a janitor, custodian or commercial cleaner.Individual characteristics include:

Available:
Monday thru Friday (5pm-9pm) 12 hours per week. MUST have work references to apply. MUST have clean criminal background. MUST have a valid drivers lisense and transportation.- The duties of a Janitor include:
- Cleaning restrooms
- Restocking restrooms
- Emptying trash
- Emptying recycle bins
- Cleaning tables in conference room
- Vacuuming offices and common areas
- Cleaning interior glass
- Cleaning drinking fountains
- Dusting partitions, cabinets and vents
- Mopping floors
- Cleaning elevators/shine stainless
- Working with Cleaning Chemicals
- Operate chemical dispensing units
- Properly measuring chemicals that are not provided in dispenser form
- Wearing CSC shirt when working Physical Ability Requirements-
- Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reaching up, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use motorized equipment.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety material and facility required documents. Personal Ability Requirements-
- Ability to drive to and from worksite.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to work at a consistent speed.
