We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment that supports our employees, customers, and operations.
JOB SUMMARY
The Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep of production, warehouse, and common areas. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming workplace by supporting daily facility needs and assisting with basic operational tasks as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain cleanliness of production floors, warehouses, restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove debris to ensure safe walking and working surfaces Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly Stock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials Assist with basic material movement, staging, or cleanup as directed Support minor facility needs such as setting up work areas, moving furniture, or preparing spaces for meetings or projects Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or supply shortages Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards Perform other duties as assigned to support operations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to follow instructions and work independently Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods Reliable attendance and punctuality
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous janitorial, porter, or facilities support experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Familiarity with basic cleaning equipment and supplies Forklift experience (if applicable and trained)
WORK CONDITIONS
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
