Custodian Job Summary:

This position is responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly. The person occupying this position will track, document, and maintain a comprehensive custodial program.

Custodian Duties/Responsibilities:

Clean, stock, and keep restrooms in good working order Sweep, mop, and polish floor on a regular and as needed basis Remove trash and other debris daily Dust equipment, furniture, and fixtures as required Clean windows, mirrors, and all glass surfaces Assist with minor repairs and maintenance related items Change light bulbs and assist with other maintenance related items Operate industrial equipment such as a forklift, scissor lift, mechanical sweeper, and similar equipment Follow Safety and Food Safety Polices & Procedures.

Custodian Skills/Abilities:

General knowledge of warehouse operations

Custodian Education and Experience:

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

One year of warehouse work Custodian Physical and/or

Travel Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing or walking Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
