00/hr shift differential American Products is hiring a Custodian to support our Facilities Maintenance team in a manufacturing environment. This role is essential to maintaining clean, safe, and well‑organized production and common areas. Key Responsibilities Deep clean restrooms and breakrooms using approved chemicals and equipment Clean plant floors using ride‑on and walk‑behind scrubbers and sweepers Empty trash throughout the facility Transport waste and cardboard to compactors using a forklift Restock supplies, fill dispensers, and disinfect surfaces Clean windows, walls, and high‑traffic areas Report facility or safety issues to Maintenance Assist with larger cleaning projects as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Janitorial experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean facilities Professional communication and teamwork skills Physical & Safety Requirements Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Forklift operation required; position is safety sensitive Must wear required PPE, including steel‑toe boots and safety glasses No travel required.
