00/hr shift differential American Products is hiring a Custodian to support our Facilities Maintenance team in a manufacturing environment. This role is essential to maintaining clean, safe, and well-organized production and common areas. Key Responsibilities Deep clean restrooms and breakrooms using approved chemicals and equipment Clean plant floors using ride-on and walk-behind scrubbers and sweepers Empty trash throughout the facility Transport waste and cardboard to compactors using a forklift Restock supplies, fill dispensers, and disinfect surfaces Clean windows, walls, and high-traffic areas Report facility or safety issues to Maintenance Assist with larger cleaning projects as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Janitorial experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean facilities Professional communication and teamwork skills Physical & Safety Requirements Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Forklift operation required; position is safety sensitive Must wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots and safety glasses No travel required.
