Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team to help our full time staff clean 2-3 days a week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, with an emphasis on both commercial and industrial cleaning standards. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Assist with custodial duties in various settings, including offices, restrooms, and common areas. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a clean environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are maintained according to company standards. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety within the facilities.
