Janitorial Maintenance Team Member (2:00 AM - 11:00 AM) Position Summary The Janitorial Maintenance Team Member is responsible for ensuring the restaurant is clean, safe, sanitized, and ready for guests and employees each day. This position performs deep cleaning, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep of the restaurant, dining room, kitchen, restrooms, and exterior while maintaining company food safety and cleanliness standards.
Schedule Shift:
2:00 AM - 11:00 AM Full-time Weekend and holiday availability may be required. Essential Responsibilities Deep clean kitchen equipment, floors, walls, and food preparation areas. Clean and sanitize dining room, restrooms, lobby, and employee areas. Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain all floor surfaces. Clean windows, doors, tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces. Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the restaurant. Pressure wash exterior sidewalks, drive-thru lanes, dumpster area, and parking lot as needed. Maintain cleanliness of landscaping and remove litter from the property. Stock restroom and cleaning supplies. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, changing HVAC filters, and reporting equipment issues. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines. Assist with truck deliveries and storage organization when needed. Complete assigned cleaning checklists and maintenance logs. Support restaurant operations with additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as directed by management. Qualifications Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Strong attention to detail. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and performing physical work throughout the shift. Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet environments. Previous janitorial or maintenance experience is preferred but not required. Expectations Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Demonstrate pride in maintaining a clean, organized restaurant. Follow all company policies and safety procedures. Work efficiently to ensure the restaurant is guest-ready before peak business hours.
