Job Description

We are seeking a trustworthy and self-motivated Part-Time Evening Janitor to maintain a corporate office building. Working independently after business hours, you will ensure workspaces, restrooms, and common areas are clean and sanitized for the next business day. This is an excellent position for individuals looking for a steady, independent night role with a manageable weekly schedule.

Shift & Schedule Hours :

8:00-12:00 (4 hours per shift / 20 hours per week).

Days :

Monday night through Friday night (weekends off).

Setting :

Quiet corporate office environment with minimal to no public interaction during the shift.

Core Responsibilities Office Cleaning :

Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop hard floors, and dust shared workspaces and reception desks.

Restroom Sanitization :

Thoroughly scrub, and disinfect all building restrooms daily.

Breakroom Upkeep :

Disinfect countertops, wipe down appliances, clean sinks, and empty trash.

Waste & Recycling :

Empty office trash bins, replace liners, and haul bags to outer dumpsters.

High-Touch Disinfection :

Sanitize entry doorknobs, water fountains, and light switches.

Glass Care :

Clean glass entry doors and interior glass partitions to maintain a smudge-free look.

Facility Security :

Lock internal doors, turn off non-essential lights, and ensure the building is securely locked down at shift end.

Skills and Qualifications Trustworthiness :

Proven ability to work responsibly alone overnight in a secured building.

Efficiency :

Strong time-management skills to complete all cleaning routines within the 4-hour window. Attention to

Keen eye for maintaining a spotless, professional corporate presentation.

Chemical Safety :

Knowledge of safe handling and mixing practices for commercial cleaning solutions.

Reliability :

Exceptional attendance record, as a part-time solo shift requires strict punctuality. Physical Requirements Continuous walking, standing, and bending for the duration of the 4-hour shift. Ability to safely lift and carry trash bags and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
