A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within various facilities.Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Clean, restock, and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals
- Notify management of any repairs needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning
- Ability to perform custodial duties such as trash removal and restroom cleaning
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards
