Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation. Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as scrubbing, buffing, waxing, polishing, and refinishing floors to maintain optimal appearance and durability. Handle chemical agents safely while performing cleaning tasks, ensuring proper dilution, application, and disposal in accordance with safety protocols. Operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, polishers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools efficiently and safely. Carry out manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, equipment, and supplies to facilitate thorough cleaning operations. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with environmental standards. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to facility staff requests and addressing any concerns related to cleanliness or safety. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly while adhering to safety guidelines for chemical agent handling. Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Familiarity with various cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards consistently. Customer service-oriented mindset with effective communication skills to interact professionally with team members and clients. Must wear uniform. Bilingual a plus.
