This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, and operating efficiently.
Primary Job Requirements:
- Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, and general upkeep.
- Handle minor repairs such as fixing locks, patching wall gaps, and other small maintenance tasks.
- Complete minor painting work as needed.
- Pull and stock supplies for office and warehouse operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the showroom and warehouse.
- Perform yard and exterior upkeep, including trash collection.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
- Collaborate with staff and contractors during renovation or improvement projects.
- Report issues or needed repairs to the Facilities or Maintenance Manager.
- Performs room set-ups and maintenance as prescribed by company procedures under the Facilities Manager and Maintenance Lead
- Assists other employees, when in need, to support teamwork and contribute to the successful completion of their objectives and strategies
- Attends all called meetings by Facilities Manager consisting of: o Safety o Productivity o Company policies or procedures o Any other information needing to be communicated
- Performs other duties as assigned
Work Schedules:
- Monday - Friday (Rotating Saturday with the Thursday off that week)
- 7a - 3:30p with a ½ hour lunch
Education and Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience using hand tools and basic electric tools
- Experience operating showroom and warehouse floor scrubbers
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to push or pull 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to lift 20 to 25 lbs occasionally
- Ability to kneel, crouch, crawl, bend and stoop frequently throughout the day
- Ability to climb using a step stool or six-foot ladder occasionally
- Ability to stand 90% of the workday
- Ability to walk frequently during the workday
- Ability to reach, handle, grip and feel merchandise and equipment frequently
- Good vision (both near and far)
