Job Description

Overview:
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility, including production areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and exterior entrances. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, and helps create a clean environment that supports efficient and safe manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, office areas, gym and other areas as requested. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors throughout the facility. Empty trash cans, recycling containers, shred bins, and dispose of waste properly. Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces as needed/requested. Maintain cleanliness in production area offices and restrooms without interfering with manufacturing operations. Replenish paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and other janitorial supplies as needed. Operate vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment safely. Clean spills promptly and safely using proper procedures. Report safety issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment promptly. Follow all company safety policies. Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Assist with facility setup and cleanup for meetings or special events. Perform other general housekeeping and facility-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Must be dependable with excellent attendance.
