What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

We are looking for you to: Maintain interior and exterior of the facility Paint walls, doors, moldings, fixtures, etc. Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning other surfaces Supply, clean and service restrooms Mix various cleaning agents according to specifications Identify and report possible repairs Possible floor work (clean steam carpets, apply wax, buff, etc.) Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must haves: Carpentry and painting experience Physical stamina and dexterity Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff Reliable transportation Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments Ability to follow directions from a supervisor Ability to demonstrate professionalism Allegiance is an EOE/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer Please email us at recruiting@allegianceindustries.com Share job details to
