We want someone who sees this as more than just cleaning. This person should care about our school, notice when something needs attention, and take pride in creating a building our students, families, and staff can be proud of. Main Responsibilities Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces. Empty trash and keep trash areas clean. Clean and maintain floors, including buffing, stripping, and waxing floors . Keep restrooms clean, stocked, and ready for students and staff. Help set up and clean up for school events and activities. Keep custodial supplies organized and let leadership know when supplies are needed. Watch for maintenance, safety, or building concerns and report them. Help keep the campus looking clean, welcoming, and well cared for. Complete other custodial or facility-related duties as needed. What We Are Looking For Dependable and able to report to work consistently and on time. Takes pride in doing a job well. Able to work independently without constant supervision. Pays attention to details and notices what needs to be done. Friendly and respectful around students, staff, families, and visitors. Custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Experience with floor buffers and waxing floors preferred. No college degree required. Physical Requirements Able to stand and walk for much of the workday. Able to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Able to regularly lift and carry 25-50 pounds . Able to safely operate normal custodial and floor-care equipment.
