Medical Clinic Cleaning Technician About the Position We are looking for dependable, hardworking Cleaning Technicians to join our team providing janitorial services at an outpatient medical clinic in Greenville, NC. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and professional environment for patients, visitors, and medical staff. This is a hands-on cleaning position. The successful candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented, able to follow cleaning procedures, and comfortable working in a medical/clinical environment. Responsibilities Clean and disinfect patient-care areas, treatment rooms, exam rooms, offices, and other assigned areas Sweep, mop, and maintain hard-surface floors Vacuum carpeted areas and mats Clean and disinfect exam tables, sinks, countertops, and other appropriate surfaces Empty trash receptacles and replace liners Remove trash and other waste according to facility procedures Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, counters, walls, and mirrors Refill restroom supplies, including paper products and hand soap Dust furniture, desks, ledges, window sills, baseboards, doors, and other surfaces Clean mirrors and entrance glass Spot clean walls, doors, carpets, and floors as needed Clean housekeeping closets and keep cleaning equipment properly stored Respond to spills and other cleaning needs as directed Perform periodic and detailed cleaning duties as assigned Follow all safety procedures and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment Maintain professional conduct while working around patients, visitors, and medical personnel The clinic's cleaning requirements include daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual cleaning duties, so attention to detail and consistency are important.
