Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to ensure a pristine environment. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures consistently across all areas, including residential, commercial, or outdoor spaces. Conduct carpet cleaning, dusting, laundry tasks, and floor care to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting and outdoor work with proper safety techniques to prevent injury. Manage janitorial supplies inventory, ensuring all cleaning equipment and detergents are well-stocked and maintained. Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Follow time management practices to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial work, residential or commercial cleaning, or housekeeping management is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, sanitation standards, and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and janitorial procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently. Good communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
