Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and sanitation activities across all facility areas, including industrial cleaning and commercial spaces. Lead, train, and motivate custodial staff to ensure adherence to safety regulations, sanitation standards, and cleaning protocols. Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to optimize efficiency and quality of service. Oversee the proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies, managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to custodial work, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal. Conduct routine inspections to verify cleanliness standards are met and address any deficiencies promptly. Collaborate with management on cleaning & sanitation management strategies, including special projects such as laundry or hospitality-related housekeeping tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial services with a strong background in commercial or industrial cleaning environments. Prior supervisory or team management experience within janitorial or custodial settings. Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective managerial communication and team supervision. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Customer service orientation with a commitment to maintaining a positive environment for staff and visitors alike.
