Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces throughout the facility. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and applying appropriate cleaning solutions to ensure safety and appearance. Handle specialized cleaning duties such as industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, and residential painting as needed. Conduct regular inspections of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas to identify and address cleanliness issues promptly. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, carpet cleaners, and industrial scrubbers efficiently and safely. Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash bags to ensure continuous availability of essentials. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures including buffing and polishing. Experience with various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and industrial scrubbers. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols and quality standards. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices; residential painting or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
