Kitchen Utility & Cleaning Assistant The Depot on First | Knightdale, NC Part-Time | Approximately 18 Hours per
WeekPay:
$14-$15/hour The Depot on First is looking for a dependable, hardworking Kitchen Utility & Cleaning Assistant to help our culinary team maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen. This is an excellent part-time position for someone who takes pride in cleanliness and organization and prefers a consistent evening schedule. No cooking experience is required.
Schedule Tuesday-Saturday:
8:00 PM-11:00
PM Sunday:
2:30 PM-5:30 PM Approximately 18 hours per week. Responsibilities Working alongside our culinary team during closing, responsibilities will include: Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen work surfaces Cleaning floors, walls, shelving, and kitchen equipment Sweeping, mopping, and detailed floor cleaning Assisting with pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen utensils as needed Emptying trash and maintaining trash areas Cleaning and organizing walk-in coolers and dry-storage areas Returning clean equipment and supplies to their proper locations Restocking and organizing kitchen supplies Breaking down and cleaning kitchen areas at the end of service Maintaining cleanliness underneath and behind equipment Assisting with scheduled deep-cleaning projects Helping ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and ready for the following day's service What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Detail-oriented Organized Comfortable working independently Willing to clean thoroughly—not just surface clean Able to remain productive without constant supervision Comfortable working in a commercial kitchen environment Able to lift approximately 40-50 lbs and remain on their feet throughout the shift Available consistently for the posted evening and Sunday schedule Restaurant experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Why This Position Matters Our cooks and chefs need to be able to focus on preparing excellent food. This position plays an important role in supporting them by making sure they begin each day with a clean, organized, properly maintained kitchen. The right person will take ownership of kitchen cleanliness and become an important part of The Depot on First team.
Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 per week
