Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, break rooms and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle various chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities, including heavy lifting and manual handling techniques to prevent injuries. Use commercial cleaning tools effectively to ensure high-quality sanitation standards are met consistently. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning supplies. Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed. Familiarity with sanitation standards, facilities and general custodial responsibilities.
