What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

This job requires arriving at 10:00 am in the morning for around an hour to touch up some restrooms and lobby area. You will then report back after 5:00 PM to complete the daily cleaning on the entire building. Around 25-30 hours per week. Duties include routine cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, changing can liners, replenishing paper products and soaps, cleaning entrance doors etc. This is in a professional commercial space. Would prefer someone with at least five years cleaning experience. Must pass background check.
