Our cleaners prepare apartments, rental homes, vacation rentals, and other properties for their next occupants. This is a part-time, on-the-road position, meaning employees will work at different client properties throughout the Wilmington area.

Starting Pay:

$17.00 per hour

Pay Progression:

Eligible for increase to $18.00 per hour after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.

Schedule:

Hours and assignments may vary based on client turnover volume and property schedules. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize vacant apartments and rental properties Clean kitchens, including countertops, sinks, cabinet exteriors, appliances, and backsplashes Clean and disinfect bathrooms, tubs/showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Dust and wipe accessible surfaces, trim, doors, and fixtures Perform minor isolated wall spot-cleaning as needed Clean interior windows/glass and mirrors when included in the assigned scope Remove ordinary cleaning-related trash and prepare units for final inspection Follow IronGate cleaning checklists and quality-control standards Properly use cleaning chemicals, PPE, and equipment according to company safety procedures Report damages, maintenance concerns, excessive debris, or conditions outside the authorized cleaning scope Maintain professional conduct while working at client properties Complete assignments accurately and within reasonable scheduled timeframes What We're Looking For Cleaning experience is helpful, but not required for the right candidate. IronGate provides paid training and on-the-job instruction. Applicants should be dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, comfortable performing physical cleaning tasks, able to work independently and as part of a team, able to follow written cleaning and safety procedures, and able to communicate professionally with supervisors and coworkers. Because employees travel to different properties, candidates must have reliable transportation to assigned job sites in the Wilmington area. The position may involve standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and performing repetitive cleaning activities for extended periods.
