Duties include cleaning, lifting, proper handling of chemicals and solutions, general maintenance, and setting up for activities. In addition, candidate may be required to mow, trim hedges, and remove snow, which may require working flexible hours in inclement weather. Custodial Leaders supervise and lead the evening custodial team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, building security, and efficient daily operations. Weekend building checks may be required. Good interpersonal skills a must. Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned. This position is subject to a veterans preference. Duty hours are typically 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
