A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.
McCook Community College is now accepting applications for a full-time custodial position for the men's side of Brooks Hall Dormitory. Responsible for daily cleaning of buildings, securing buildings and some light maintenance. This position is full-time and has excellent benefits including health insurance and retirement.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have: Ability to work independently, follow directions, be dependable, good communication skills and have a good work ethic; basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel, customer service skills and a valid driver's license are required. HS diploma/GED preferred. Custodial experience is preferred but will train. Ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
