Position Summary The Plant Operations and Admin Lead oversees, ensures, and performs safe and efficient operations for loading, shipping, and ticketing of ash products as well as disposal when needed at the Power Plant. Communicates daily with appropriate NPPD plant personal, NEBCO office personal and supervisor as needed for instruction. Lead will need to fill in where needed and actively be involved to ensure tasks are completed. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Must be able to work normal day hours, generally between 6 am to 6 pm, averaging 40 to 50 hours a week; occasional Saturday or Sunday work may be required; hours may vary based on daily loading or disposal requirements. The position will be located at a power plant which requires the applicant to pass a background check plus a pre-employment physical with drug testing and back screening. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervises plant personnel; provides guidance, and training as needed including responsibilities of Plant Operations Maintenance Lead as needed. Discusses and Informs Plant Operations and Maintenance Lead, and other personnel as needed, of potential problems, status and timeline of projects, assures work is completed timely and safely, and supports other departments according to needs as directed.
