Job details:

Our job is a Monday through Friday, no weekends. Our job begins at 2:30 pm and ends at 8:00 pm. It is a 5 and a half hour shift, which totals out to 27.5 hours a week, so our job is Part time. Our job is apart of a reputable school district in result of that we require a federal background check for this job. Another requirement for the job is an active drivers license. Our pay is starting at $ 17.00 per hour, but our pay is based on experience. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across multiple areas. Handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, following all safety protocols and handling procedures. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment in accordance with safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, hallways, and other designated areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance, including minor repairs or reporting issues for further attention. Support residential painting or industrial cleaning projects as needed to uphold facility standards. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and chemical handling safety procedures. Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety protocol adherence during all cleaning activities. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and using appropriate techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude when interacting with staff or visitors. Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is advantageous.
