Monday-Friday Full-Time 2nd shift : 3:00 PM-11:30 PM, fixed schedule Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cleaner on the Second Shift and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This energetic position offers an opportunity to contribute to the overall cleanliness and appearance of our facilities, ensuring a positive experience for employees, visitors, and clients alike. As a key member of our custodial staff, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks with precision and efficiency, supporting our commitment to excellence in facility maintenance. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies. Maintain high standards of cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Handle floor care duties such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to keep floors looking pristine. Conduct routine janitorial tasks including trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene. Assist with custodial maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the facilities team. Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently during all cleaning activities. Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed to ensure the facility remains spotless and well-maintained. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of custodial procedures including floor care techniques like buffing and waxing. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or troubleshooting basic equipment issues. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or scrubbers safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing manual cleaning tasks over extended periods.
