A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
- Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated Residential and Commercial Common Area Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning tasks, including commercial and industrial cleaning, floor care, and facilities maintenance.
- Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas Maintain cleanliness of common areas Perform floor care duties including buffing and polishing Handle waste disposal and recycling Follow cleaning schedules and procedures
- Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial, or related field Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail Experience with floor care including buffing is a plus Strong work ethic and reliability
