Handle various cleaning agents safely, following chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a healthy environment. Conduct sanitation tasks including trash removal, surface disinfecting, and restroom upkeep to uphold hygiene standards. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of supplies and equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Maintain facilities by performing minor custodial repairs or reporting maintenance issues promptly. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred but training is provided. Experience with facilities maintenance or general Porter duties demonstrates versatility in custodial responsibilities. Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safe manual handling practices is required.
