The Lebanon School District is looking for a qualified individual to work as a Custodian during AM shift (mornings-days). The ideal candidate will have knowledge of custodial services, pass a physical exam, communicate verbally and in writing, have some computer skills, and be able to plan work around changing priorities. This position requires a positive work ethic, High School diploma or equivalent, and passing a criminal background check. The regular work schedule is 8 hours a day, Monday-Friday with a 30-minute duty-free unpaid lunch break.Job Duties:
- Performs duties of building operations and cleaning in all facets of custodial services.
- Follows directions and establishes routines in the proper use of materials and supplies as prescribed by the Director of Facilities.
- Accounts for all phases of custodial services to provide a litter-free appearance both inside and outside of district buildings including (a) vacuuming (back pack vacuum 2-4 hours per shift), sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, and waxing floors; (b) disinfecting and cleaning of bathrooms, restrooms, lockers rooms and other required areas; (c) dusting and cleaning offices and classrooms; (d) cleaning and stocking restrooms, classrooms, and maintaining building sanitation, limited ladder cleaning work; (e) assisting in snow removal; and (f) lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Moves office and classroom furniture and equipment and supplies.
- Completes daily routines as assigned by the principal, AM Custodian, or Director of Facilities including locking or unlocking doors, hanging flags, removing trash and recyclables, and cleaning areas after accidents.
- Completes minor maintenance and repair tasks.
- Reviews and adheres to cleaning schedules as established by the building facilities maintenance plan.
- Familiar with SDS handbook and requirements.
- Perform limited computer functions including time sheet entry, AESOP requests, and other School Dude program entries as necessary.
- All other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities or building administration.

Pay:
- Based on LSS Collective Bargaining Agreement salary schedule.
