A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Pay Rate:
- _The pay rate for this job is $19 - $19 / hour
- _ •What you'll be doing as a
Custodial Supervisor:
- + Utilize healthcare and Environmental Services (EVS) experience to maintain hospital cleanliness standards + Perform and oversee floor care activities, including stripping and waxing floors + Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate departmental coverage + Ensure all hospital areas are properly covered and maintained by the EVS department + Lead daily team huddles and communicate departmental goals and priorities + Work closely with housekeepers and hospital staff to support operational needs + Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met + Perform patient rounding to assess satisfaction and address concerns + Respond promptly to EVS requests and service needs throughout the facility + Promote a safe, clean, and patient-focused environment at all times •Available shifts:•Shift timings -2nd Shift (Evening) •Job requirements:•+ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + Previous experience required + Work frequently with cleaning chemicals + Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and frequently reach, bend, carry, and balance items + Background check and drug screening required •Ready to take control of the way you work?
