Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Third Shift Industrial Cleaner to join our manufacturing facility's night operations team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment within our industrial and food processing areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning and sanitation tasks during the overnight shift, ensuring that production areas meet strict cleanliness standards. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of manufacturing equipment, floors, walls, and workspaces during the third shift to ensure a sanitary environment. Utilize industrial cleaning tools and chemicals safely and effectively, following all safety protocols and procedures. Conduct sanitation procedures in food production areas to meet regulatory standards and prevent contamination. Assist with waste removal, including heavy lifting of trash bins and debris, maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility. Maintain detailed cleaning logs and documentation to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Support warehouse cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas. Collaborate with production teams to schedule cleaning tasks around operational needs without disrupting workflow. Use custodial experience to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within manufacturing or food processing environments. Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety practices related to industrial environments. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently during the shift. Prior experience in food production or manufacturing facilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse operations and general janitorial responsibilities. Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently during overnight hours while adhering to safety protocols.
