A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Asden Management, a rapidly growing Real Estate Management Company with properties in several states, is looking for excellent employees to add to our team! We are currently seeking a full time Custodian / Porter at The Grand Apartments, a 564-unit luxury residential apartment community located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings
- Vacuuming and mopping common hallways and rooms, social rooms and gym etc.
- Clear trash/recyclables from refuse rooms and prepare containers for collection
- Assist in the preparation of market ready units: beginning to end, including pulling and cleaning behind appliances, scrubbing down bathrooms, cleaning stains, dusting the apt., cleaning appliances, etc., including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner
- Deliver communication documentation to residents. Contribute to resident retention programs.
- Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Represent the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property Job requirements:
- Experience in residential community cleaning or grounds-keeping
- Reliable and able to work weekends; needs to be available to work 5 days a week and one day would have to be on a Sunday or Saturday. 8 hours per day
- High school diploma/GED required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
- Good mechanical skills
- Exceptional customer service skills required
