Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to uphold high standards of sanitation and cleanliness. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition. Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning and sanitation procedures, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety protocols. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks involving furniture, supplies, or equipment while following safe lifting practices. Assist with general facilities maintenance including minor repairs, painting, and upkeep of common areas. Support industrial cleaning projects as needed, ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests for cleaning or maintenance assistance from staff or visitors. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques. Skilled in the safe handling and application of chemical agents used in sanitation and cleaning processes. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, chemical handling, and facilities maintenance. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and visitors. Ability to perform manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required.
