What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Maintenance work takes place at multiple commercial and residential buildings in Hoboken and Jersey City The following activities are essential to perform the maintenance work: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, window cleaning, garbage/recycle removal, minor repairs, snow removal, etc... The objective is to maintain the interior and exterior areas of the buildings in top shape for our clients Learn and execute work procedures to the best of their ability
