Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our Building Management Services team as a part-time Janitorial Worker. As a Janitorial worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our client's properties including Municipal, County & State-owned buildings located throughout all of New Jersey (Northern and Southern availability). This opportunity is ideal for those looking for eventual full-time work as well.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following functions of the job include, but are not limited to: Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas Refill soap, toilet paper, and other supplies as needed Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors Perform tasks relating to providing a clean/healthy environment in bathrooms, public restrooms, and other areas Report all items that require maintenance/repair Collect all waste material, sort, and recyclable as directed May order and be responsible for needed cleaning supplies Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols Perform related duties as assigned May be required to report to a variety of different sites and work different shifts, including mornings, evenings, afternoons, and nights.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
HS or GED recommended Previous experience in commercial cleaning (preferred, but not required) Able to work independently and efficiently
