This role involves performing sanitation tasks, basic repairs, and general upkeep of the warehouse and shop areas. The ideal candidate will have handyman skills, be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting, and possess a proactive approach to maintaining a tidy and functional environment. Duties Perform daily sanitation and cleaning of all work areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Conduct routine facilities maintenance, including minor repairs and light construction tasks as needed. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting and moving materials safely and efficiently. Use tools effectively for repairs, maintenance, and light construction projects. Keep the workspace organized, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored. Assist with shop work related to warehouse operations, supporting overall facility upkeep. Drive company vehicles when necessary for supplies or equipment transportation. Skills Strong sanitation and cleaning skills with attention to detail. Basic handyman skills including repairs, light construction, and knowledge of tools. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting. Familiarity with facility maintenance procedures. Good organizational skills with the ability to keep work areas tidy. Dependable with a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe environment. Ability to operate basic tools and equipment used in maintenance work. Valid driving license preferred for vehicle operation related to job duties.
