As a Warehouse Bakery Cleaner, you will ensure that all areas of the bakery and warehouse are meticulously cleaned and sanitized, supporting food safety and quality assurance initiatives. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of bakery production areas, equipment, floors, walls, and storage spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling procedures and wearing designated personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting to maintain hygiene standards. Follow strict sanitation protocols aligned with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to prevent contamination. Use respiratory protection and other PPE correctly during cleaning processes to ensure personal safety. Assist with waste disposal and ensure all cleaning supplies are stored securely according to safety guidelines. Collaborate with food production teams to support food safety standards and maintain a clean environment conducive to high-quality baking operations. Requirements Prior custodial or janitorial experience, preferably within food production or processing environments. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and familiarity with chemical agents used in sanitation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning tasks or when handling supplies. Basic math skills for measuring chemicals or following cleaning instructions accurately. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to chemical handling, GMP compliance, and food safety regulations. Experience with warehouse operations or food processing facilities is a plus.
