Job Description

The Aircraft Cleaning Specialist is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior appearance of aircraft while ensuring compliance with company procedures and aviation safety standards. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean aircraft interiors, including cabins, cockpits, galleys, lavatories, seats, tray tables, windows, and carpets. Remove trash and debris from aircraft cabins. Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces using approved cleaning products. Perform exterior washing and detailing of aircraft when assigned. Vacuum, sweep, mop, and shampoo carpets as needed. Inspect aircraft for cleanliness and report any damage, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow all FAA, OSHA, TSA, airport, and company safety and security procedures. Safely operate cleaning equipment and use chemicals according to manufacturer and company guidelines. Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly stored after use. Meet scheduled turnaround times while maintaining quality standards. Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and flight operations staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous aircraft, janitorial, hospitality, or industrial cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to pass required background checks and obtain airport security clearance, if applicable. Valid driver's license may be required depending on job duties. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in confined spaces within aircraft cabins. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Work Environment Airport hangars, ramps, and aircraft interiors. Exposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, varying temperatures, and moving aircraft equipment. Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
