A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.
Clean Team Inc. is looking for a dependable Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to join our team in Budd Lake, New Jersey. Looking for extra income without giving up your entire evening? This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 4:00 PM-6:15 PM. You'll work approximately 11.25 hours per week, finish early each evening, and have your weekends completely free. WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Commercial Cleaner, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for our customer.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors Dust furniture, fixtures, shelves, and other surfaces Empty trash containers and replace liners Clean and sanitize restrooms Clean breakrooms and common areas Clean offices, hallways, entrances, and other assigned spaces Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies Follow Clean Team cleaning and safety procedures Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies Report low supplies, maintenance concerns, or facility issues to your supervisor Complete assigned cleaning duties thoroughly and on schedule
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who is dependable, responsible, and comfortable working independently.
Qualifications include:
Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to work Monday-Friday from 4:00 PM-6:15 PM Dependable and punctual attendance Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and stay productive Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and remain active throughout the shift Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Current auto insurance Ability to meet applicable background requirements Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required. Paid training is provided.
