Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Winpak Control Group Inc. is seeking a Custodial / Janitor to join Quality department based out of Norwood, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment throughout the facility. This role supports daily operations by performing housekeeping, sanitation, and general maintenance duties in compliance with company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of lunchrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, employee entrances, and other common areas to maintain a clean and hygienic workplace. Complete scheduled cleaning tasks, including refrigerators, garbage containers, eyewash stations, lockers, and other facility equipment, while maintaining accurate cleaning logs. Monitor janitorial supply inventory, replenish dispensers and consumables, and notify the appropriate personnel when supplies require replenishment. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to GMP, sanitation, product safety, and health and safety requirements, reporting hazards, unsafe conditions, or incidents promptly. Perform general housekeeping and other related duties as assigned to support facility operations. Required Qualifications High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months of custodial, janitorial, or general labour experience. Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Ability to follow GMP, sanitation procedures, chemical handling requirements, and company policies. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and maintaining high standards of quality. Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, food, packaging, or regulated production environment. Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment, cleaning chemicals, and sanitation best practices. Experience maintaining cleaning records, supplying inventories, or preventive housekeeping schedules. Familiarity with workplace health and safety procedures and PPE requirements .
