Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely and effectively perform all duties to prepare, clean and inspect tank trailers and ISOs, including but not limited to: vents, valves, clean-out caps, clamps, loading/unloading lines, hoses, and other equipment that is to be cleaned as per normal tank cleaning procedures. Properly operate atmospheric testing equipment and understand the use and care of rescue equipment used in confined space rescue. Comply with the Company provided literature and training and all existing Federal, State, Local and Company requirements, rules, and regulations that pertain to personal safety in the performance of duties. Complete paperwork for Confined Space Entry, shipping and receiving of cleaned units, and operation of facility software for TW tickets, billing, safety, etc. Maintain an environment of cleanliness and safety within the wash facility. Other duties as assigned. 1 year's relevant experience Mechanical ability and inclination Excellent attention to details Ability to speak, read, and understand English for comprehension of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) chemical information Ability to navigate basic computer software and other business related software
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least 1 year of related experience required.
Additional Job Information Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, hours are M-F 7am-3:30pm
Work Environment :
Indoors, Outdoors, Water, Dust, Confined Space Tank washers frequently work with various cleaning chemicals and may encounter hazardous materials or their residues, requiring the proper use of PPE, including respirators and chemical-resistant gloves. Hazardous Materials Heights, Extreme Temperatures, Safety Glasses, Hard Hat, Respirator, Goggles, Dust Mask, Ear Plugs Other - Tyvek Suits or aprons or bib/overalls. Hard hat or bump cap, other PPE as outlined in the Hazard Assessment Manual Safety First environment - Complacency is not an option.
