In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization across our premises. Your proactive approach will ensure a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities through hands-on custodial work and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high standards of cleanliness and upkeep. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of common areas, offices, restrooms, and hallways using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies Conduct janitorial duties such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain hygiene standards Assist with floor care activities including buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to preserve flooring quality Support custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning projects or specialized facility maintenance as needed Handle basic facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing fixtures, and minor repairs Assist with residential painting projects or touch-ups around the premises to enhance appearance and safety Maintain cleanliness logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and waxing is desirable Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices is a plus Proven ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Familiarity with basic painting or minor repair work is advantageous Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment!
