In person Job Description Garden Communities, a large and well-established real estate development and property management company, is seeking two reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaners for a residential apartment community in Springfield, New Jersey. The Cleaners will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the property. The ideal candidates will take pride in their work, complete assigned cleaning responsibilities thoroughly, and interact professionally with residents, visitors, vendors, and coworkers. Responsibilities Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, stairways, elevators, offices, amenity spaces, and other common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and clean assigned areas Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, fixtures, and other high-touch areas Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed Remove trash and recycling and maintain designated disposal areas Assist with cleaning vacant apartments and preparing them for new residents Perform routine and detailed cleaning according to the property's schedule and standards Maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies in an organized and safe manner Notify management of maintenance concerns, damage, safety hazards, or supply needs Follow all company safety procedures and instructions for cleaning products and equipment Communicate professionally with residents, management, vendors, and coworkers Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned Perform additional duties as needed to support property operations Qualifications Previous professional cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, or residential property experience preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to complete cleaning assignments thoroughly Reliable, punctual, organized, and self-motivated Professional and courteous when interacting with residents, visitors, and coworkers Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team Ability to safely use cleaning products, tools, and equipment Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, lift, and perform the physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation Must be available to work full-time Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Benefits Benefits are available to eligible employees.
