We are hiring a dependable Custodian / Day Porter for a commercial facility in the Kenilworth, NJ area. This is a Monday-Friday morning position. Up to 8 hours per day. Responsibilities Move boxes, furniture, and supplies as needed Replace light bulbs and ceiling tiles Perform minor repairs (doors, locks, fixtures, drywall touch-ups) Perform general maintenance tasks throughout the facility Report maintenance issues to management Replace batteries in devices, clocks, and dispensers Tighten loose handles, hinges, and hardware Install or replace simple fixtures (paper towel holders, dispensers, etc.) Hang signs, whiteboards, bulletin boards, or artwork Assemble basic furniture (chairs, desks, shelving) Assist with deliveries and supply organization Qualifications Previous handyman or building maintenance experience preferred Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and materials Reliable, punctual, and dependable Able to work independently and follow instructions Professional attitude Good communication skills Reliable transportation to Kenilworth, NJ Must speak English Responsibilities include: General cleaning, maintaining common areas, taking out trash, moving furniture as needed, bringing in deliveries, changing light bulbs, and assisting with basic day-to-day facility tasks. Candidates should be comfortable using basic power tools, be generally handy, and able to lift at least 25 lbs.
