N. Brown Elementary School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing custodial staff, ensuring a safe and clean environment for students and staff, and maintaining school facilities to the highest standards. This full-time position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a welcoming atmosphere for the school community. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of custodial staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Ensure that all areas of the school, including classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, are cleaned and maintained according to established standards. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Address and resolve any custodial-related issues or concerns raised by staff, students, or parents. Collaborate with school administration to plan and execute special cleaning projects, such as during school events or seasonal deep cleaning. Maintain accurate records of work performed, supplies used, and staff attendance. Provide training and guidance to custodial staff on best practices for cleaning and maintenance.
