What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Summary Nigh Shift (3 p.m. - 11 p.m.) Join our dynamic Custodial/Custodian professional, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our environment clean and safe. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our schools through comprehensive custodial duties, routine maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Successful completion of high school, trade school, or equivalent. Must be able to lift 50 Ibs Must be able to climb a ladder Must have Black Seal Boiler's license within 12 mos of hire date Must be able to operate snow removal equipment, floor scrubbers, and other custodial equipment Must be available for overtime to cover school functions and emergencies Must have valid New Jersey Driver's License.
