Role:

Crown View Manor I Condominium in West Orange, NJ is looking for a dependable and hardworking Porter to join our team! This is a great opportunity to be a vital part of a residential community where your efforts directly contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our residents every day.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all common areas, hallways, lobbies, and building exteriors Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal Assist with light maintenance and repair tasks as needed throughout the property Monitor and maintain laundry rooms, parking areas, and other shared amenities Remove and manage trash and recycling in accordance with community guidelines Respond promptly to resident requests and facility needs in a courteous manner Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or damage to property management

Requirements:

Prior experience as a Porter, Janitor, Custodian, or in building maintenance preferred Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and staff Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Flexibility to work weekends or varied shifts as needed
