Pneuma | Westwood, New Jersey Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available Pneuma is an all-day café, restaurant, and market opening in Westwood, New Jersey. We are looking for reliable, hardworking Porters / Dishwashers to join our opening kitchen team. This is an essential position in our restaurant. We are looking for people who take pride in keeping a kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly. The Role The Porter / Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish area, kitchen, and back-of-house spaces while supporting the kitchen team throughout the day. This position requires someone who can work efficiently, stay organized during busy periods, and consistently maintain a clean and safe working environment. Responsibilities Wash and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and operating efficiently. Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas. Sweep, mop, and clean floors throughout the shift. Empty trash, recycling, and cardboard as needed. Clean and sanitize work surfaces, sinks, equipment, and storage areas. Maintain and restock cleaning and sanitation supplies. Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries when needed. Help keep walk-ins, dry storage, and other kitchen areas organized. Assist the kitchen team with basic prep or other tasks when needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Complete opening, closing, and scheduled deep-cleaning responsibilities. What We're Looking For Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required . We are happy to train someone with the right attitude and work ethic. Are willing to help wherever needed. Communicate well and work as part of a team. Can safely lift and carry typical kitchen items and deliveries.
