Perform various housekeeping functions, cleaning, sanitation, and other housekeeping functions observing high-sanitation and safety standards in accordance with hospital policies and procedures as well as State and Federal laws.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform cleaning procedures of patient rooms and common areas throughout the Hospital. Maintain adequate linen supply for all departments. Remove waste and soiled linens using proper disposal procedures. Operate housekeeping mechanical equipment.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITIES
Ability to read, write, and speak English preferred.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Work Experience
  • Prior cleaning experience in a health care or institutional setting preferred. Training
  • License/Certification
ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS
Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids. Qualifications
